Leipzig’s R.A.N.D. Muzik are perhaps better known for pressing records than releasing them, but to demonstrate their new picture disc press they've curated a limited edition compilation LP for reflective home listening (and viewing). Featuring Lowtec, Consulate and Leipzig locals Panthera Krause and Leibniz to name just a few, over its 8 tracks the collection moves from melody-driven IDM to dark, atmospheric ambience, through to reflective electronica. Skilfully pressed on two sides of 12” plastic with artwork by Marijn Degenaar this is surely a must-have for every sensible record collector.
